Choose Your Reading Experience

You can use this course with the Read Build Grow quarterly reading experience or with another business book you are reading.

Both options follow the same process:

Read intentionally.
Reflect deeply.
Apply what matters.

Choose the experience that best fits what you are reading now.

Follow the Book of the Quarter

The Book of the Quarter provides a current business book and a reading plan for the quarter.

Each week, you can:

• read the assigned chapters or pages

• complete the corresponding course lesson

• use the lesson’s thinking lens to reflect on what you read

• visit the weekly Read Along post

• share what you captured in the comments

The reading plan provides structure, while the Read Along gives you a place to follow the experience with others.

Use Another Business Book

You can also use the course with any business book you are currently reading.

Begin with the next section of your book and move through the course lessons in order.

For each lesson:

• continue reading

• capture what stands out

• choose one takeaway to examine

• use the thinking lens

• record your reflection

Move at a pace that gives you enough time to consider the ideas. You may complete one lesson each week, spend longer with a lesson, or continue when you reach a natural stopping point in the book.

Use the Course More Than Once

Each book will give you different ideas to evaluate.

You can return to this course whenever you begin another business book and use the same thinking lenses with new reading.

Over time, the process can help you become more deliberate about:

• what captures your attention

• how you evaluate business ideas

• what fits your current needs

• what deserves a place in your business

Using the RBG App

Whichever reading experience you choose, you can use the RBG app to add your book and capture notes, quotes, reflections, and takeaways as you read.

After finishing the book, the app guides you through reviewing what you captured, flagging what matters, and moving selected ideas into Apply.

Reflection

Before continuing, decide which reading experience you will use:

• the current Book of the Quarter and Read Along

• another business book you are currently reading

Write down the title of your book and where you plan to begin.
